A Gulf country grants resident doctors a “golden residency”

The UAE government has invited resident doctors to apply for a golden residency, which allows them and their families to reside for a period of 10 years. According to “WAM” (Wednesday), the invitation came in implementation of the directives of the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, as doctors who have obtained a license from the health authorities in the country can submit their applications until next September, through the website smartservices.ica. The UAE recently announced receiving applications for golden residency for programmers, with the aim of granting them to 100,000 programmers residing in the UAE and the world. The country applies a long-term residence visa system (510) years without a sponsor, and is automatically renewed for certain categories, including investors, entrepreneurs, and creative and specialized talents.
